I became curios about photography when my father gave me his Asahi Pentax camera when I turned sixteen.
The use of it was very simple, no need to read two hundred pages of instructions’, like now when you buy a digital toy.

Despite that, after throwing away a couple of photo rolls which came our without any single image, I have been taught by a professional photographer, not only how to use it but how to develop negatives and than, how to do the most magic part of the process, printing.
Ever since it is very rare that I live home without a camera.

Digital “tools” changed the fashion and the magician of photography and add the risk that quantity will surpass quality.
Nevertheless I still love to take pictures, with both my digital camera as well with my old Asahi.

I love photography because it can freeze “situations” that just a moment later do not exist anymore. I love photography because it help to create a tangible works of what eyes and imagination caught in an instant.
I love shades , straight lines in both urban and country contest, I like to zoom till I found and abstraction in something otherwise familiar.

My photographs are often a single print as I purposely delete the source.
